Do Disney Characters Wear Too Much Makeup
Let'south be honest: Disney World is a VERY Instagrammable destination.
But let's be honest once more: it's too an incredibly hot and boiling destination.
Then what can y'all wear to make sure your face is on point ALL DAY, even later on y'all've rope dropped Magic Kingdom and are waiting on fireworks?
I don't pretend to be a Beauty Expert by any means, but I practise have a slight makeup obsession and I spend a LOT of time sweating on photographic camera in Disney Earth, so you could say I take my confront very seriously. 😉
Lots of you take asked — so here we go! These are my favorite products — the ones I wear well-nigh every twenty-four hour period. The ones that get me through 12 hour park days, and still are on my face when I head abode. Hopefully they'll work for your #InstaWorthy moments likewise! 🙂
Face up PRODUCTS:
Concealer: Shape Record
If I could but wear one thing on my face, it would be this. This is the All-time concealer always — strong plenty to cover blemishes (and keep 'em covered) and hide the night circles under my eyes when I wake up ridiculously early to rope drib.
TBH, sometimes I just put this on most of my face and use powder to finish.
Pulverisation: NYX Stay Matte Just Not Flat
Whether I actually wear foundation, or merely a bunch of Shape Tape, this is what goes on height, as my very last stride. I ordinarily carry this in my handbag to touch up as things get sweaty.
Primer: Baby Skin past Maybelline
Later on Shape Tape but before foundation, I put on a thin layer of Baby Skin to smooth everything out and get all ready for the next step. From what I tin can tell, it works just likewise as more expensive primers I've tried. (I'm pretty sure it's non actually fabricated of babies, simply I cannot 100% confirm.)
Foundation: Sephora or Fit Me! or Urban Decay
I read one time that you're supposed to mix up your foundation, and I accept no thought if that's true or not, only my Make Upwards bag certainly thinks so.
I currently alternating between three. Sephora's brand has the fullest coverage and seems to look the all-time on photographic camera, Urban Decay is the lightest coverage and good when I'm not filming but still in the parks, and Fit Me! is somewhere in the centre, with lighter coverage that looks good in photos, but still fuller coverage than Urban Decay.
I take tried about a billion foundations, and these are the ones I've had the best results with! For the tape, I have a "normal" skin type as far equally foundations get.
Bronzer: Hoola by Benefit
Fifty-fifty though I live in Florida, I like to add a petty color to my cheeks, plus a low-cal dusting everywhere else. This is my favorite bronzer — information technology stays on all twenty-four hour period and is a peachy natural color.
Blush: Becca Luminous Blush
Mail service bronzer, I throw some chroma on dem cheeks. I actually like the blush shade in a cheek palette I have, but of course, it'due south no longer being made. This is the same formula though, and I'm excited to try a new color when my cherished palette has run dry. (But if yous have a corking chroma, leave it in the comments!)
Highlighter: Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter
I'thou obsessed with this highlighter! Information technology adds a crazy glow all. day. long — perfect for on camera, or only maximizing your Purple Wall selfie.
Eyes:
Eyeshadow Primer: Urban Decay
If I take figured out one thing I need to utilize to go on my makeup on, it's eyelid primer. It will even out your eyelid skin tone, and create a sail to let your eye shadow shine. And virtually importantly, it volition help it stay on ALL. Day. LONG.
I've used drugstore brands in the past, and honestly, lots of them work very well. I specially enjoy the NYX primer quite a bit, to the bespeak where I basically just buy the Urban Disuse when information technology's on sale.
Heart SHADOW: Besides Faced
I have tried tons of heart shadow brands — everything from Smashbox to the Naked Palette past Urban Decay. Just the ane I go on coming back to is Also Faced. Information technology's highly pigmented, blends well, and about importantly, stays on all day. Plus I love their color choices (I tend to be drawn to neutrals like golds and browns), and each time a new palette comes out, I find myself adding to cart — even though I need a new one similar I demand a hole in the head.
For a great classic (or starter) palette, try their Natural Eyes (above). Or for something a little jazzier, bank check out this crawly Pretty Rich palette.
Eyeliner: NYX Epic Ink
I Dear the look of Liquid Eyeliner, but I am VERY bad at applying it. Luckily NYX made this very awesome liquid eyeliner pen, which allows me to take perfect top liner in just two swooshes. (It took me a fleck to master it, simply I promise it's so easy in one case you figure out the needed angle of your hand.)
For the bottom chapeau, I employ this cheap retractable pen, as I take not mastered bottom liquid eyeliner yet and always poke myself, thus making my eye water or giving me the appearance of a raccoon.
Just on both lids, I brand sure to prepare with a narrow brush and the black shadow out of this Too Faced centre shadow palette. (Told you I had a slight problem with buying eye shadow.) Setting information technology helps ensure it will last alllllll twenty-four hour period.
Mascara: Do good or Too Faced
Ahhh mascara. Yous are my one true dear. I would become (and have gone) to dinner with nothing only yous and Shape Record.
I like a lot of mascaras, and in that location are tons I'd happily wearable, just my two favorites are Benefit and Besides Faced. Recently, I've been on a Too Faced kick and call back I adopt it right this second, but honestly, I just buy whichever is on sale or comes with a bonus souvenir that month.
I also make certain to throw a coat of Mascara Primer on before either mascara so my lashes tin brand like Hercules and go the distance.
Centre Brightener: Thrive Bright Center
This footling baby is the clandestine to looking like you're gotten a full ix hours of sleep when really you've been upward for rope drop iii days in a row and you lot're surviving on Joffrey's lattes and Mickey-shaped sugary treats. Just a little on the inner corners of your centre and bottom chapeau, and POOF. Big sparkly drawing graphic symbol optics.
BONUS: Part of the proceeds of everything from this brand go to helping domestic corruption survivors. Big claps for women helping women AND looking skillful.
Eyebrows: Benefit FoolProof Countenance Powder
Practiced thing Benefit made this foolproof, because I actually am a dummy when it comes to eyebrows. That'south why I dearest it — ii quick stokes of the brush and I am ready to go (at least in the countenance department.)
Lips:
This is the question I become the MOST oftentimes — what lipstick exercise I wear to survive ALL THE TREATS that come up with a day at Walt Disney World?
Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick: Laic
Okay — I used to have other lip products here such as Lip Sense and MAC. But when masks became a affair I had to reevaluate EVERYTHING and I have institute the best lipstick e'er. And it'south only $viii!!! Maybelline SuperStay is long lasting, comes in a million colors, AND can survive eating all 24-hour interval. Win, win, win.
So there you accept information technology — a glimpse into my makeup bag! Like I said, I am no beauty blogger, just I practice schlep around the Disney Parks for hours upon hours every week, and my confront stays pretty in tact. Hopefully these products will work for yous as well — trust me, I sympathize how important it is to be Insta and PhotoPass ready! 🙂
